If you are switching between bottle- and breast-feeding, your baby may
experience
nipple confusion. That’s because many bottle nipples flow too fast.
If you use a
different latch that’s easier for baby to suckle, she may not want
to go back and work
“harder” at the breast. The NaturaLatch nipple has been
clinically shown to be similar
to the breast – in strong latch-on and flow
rate. Proper latch-on prevents baby from
taking in air.
Depending on your child’s preference, Drop-Ins nipples are available in two
materials:
• Latex - softer. It can only be hand-washed.
• Silicone – more sturdy material compared to latex. Can be sterilized.
Different flow rates to suit babies with different needs:
• Slow flow: for young babies (newborn to six months)
• Fast flow: for babies six months and older
- Y-cut silicone nipples are also available for cereals and solid feeding.
